NFL.com’s Gil Brandt was on the scene in Columbia at Missouri’s pro day and has all the particulars.
TE Michael Egnew, who was coming off a big combine workout last week improved on his broad jump and attempted the vertical leap again (37 1/2 inches), but stood on all of his other numbers.
Teammate and sleeper WR Wes Kemp didn’t have a bad showing. Here are the figures Brandt had on him.
Wes Kemp, WR — (6-foot-3 3/8, 223 pounds) — Had two runs of 4.55 seconds in the 40-yard dash, a 34 ½-inch vertical jump, 10-foot-1 broad jump, 4.25 short shuttle run, 6.86 three-cone drill and 18 bench press repetitions. He also took part in position drills.
That’s a pretty good display of athleticism giving Kemp a chance to be a consideration in the late rounds.
