Another mock pick for OT

The offensive tackle need for the Bills continues to dominate mock drafts. This name has been mentioned before, but it hasn’t been the most popular for Buffalo at 10.

The folks at OurLads have the Bills taking Stanford OT Jonathan Martin.  Here’s what they wrote.

10 – Buffalo – Jonathan Martin – OT – Stanford
Jonathan Martin pops his hands up quickly and locks onto the breast plate of a defender. Plays square in pass protection and is physical on down blocks. He is an ascending player that is alert and athletic coming from a pro scheme in college where he played with his hand in the dirt. Cordy Glenn may be in the mix, Riley Reiff..A left tackle will be the pick.

One excellent point they make is Martin’s familiarity with being in a three-point stance. So many college tackles are in a two-point stance now with all the spread attacks that they need time to adjust to pro sets and being in a three-point stance.
