Bills QB Vince Young is suing his former agent for the loss of millions of dollars in an all too familiar story.
According to the Houston Chronicle, Young’s former attorney and former financial advisor were both entrusted with protecting the quarterback’s assets. The suit claims upwards of $18 million in lost money. Young’s current attorney in the suit also claims there’s evidence of forgeries and fraud regarding Young’s name.
His former attorney Major Adams was apparently a close friend of Young’s uncle and negotiated the quarterback’s first NFL contract. Buffalo cornerback Terrence McGee was in a similar situation with a former agent earlier in his career, though the amount of lost money wasn’t nearly as high.
