Bills players participated in the opening ceremonies of the 2012 State Summer Games at the University at Buffalo Friday.
To kick off the games, Fred Jackson, Stephon Gilmore, Arthur Moats, Chris Douglas, Alex Carrington and Dwan Edwards were recognized as part of the opening ceremonies, walking in and cheering on the parade of athletes.
Special Olympics opening ceremonies also featured the lighting of the Special Olympics Cauldron.
“I had a great time interacting with the kids,” said Bills running back Fred Jackson. “Kids are always fun, and they were thrilled to have us there. Being a kid at heart, it’s fun to see them smiling and enjoying themselves.”
