Redskins top back out

The Washington Redskins will be without a few of their starters on offense headlined by their starting running back.

Tim Hightower, who is coming off an ACL injury last year, is out for tonight’s game along with starting LG Kory Lichtensteiger and starting RT Jammal Brown (Active/PUP). Starting FB Darrel Young and WR Anthony Armstrong are also out for the Redskins this evening.

Roy Helu Jr. is expected to start at RB for the Redskins, with Maurice Hurt and Tyler Polumbus expected to start at LG and RT respectively for Lichtensteiger and Brown.

The scenario isn’t all that different from last season’s Week 8 matchup. Washington came in with a banged up offensive line last year against the Bills and their quarterback John Beck was under a lot of duress to the tune of 10 sacks.

With a new an improved pass rushing defensive line, Washington could be in for a repeat performance.
