Bills CB Terrence McGee is battling his way back from a torn patellar tendon and major knee surgery. He’s been used sparingly with the second unit in team work and has done a lot of work on the side with the strength and conditioning staff as well. Head coach Chan Gailey provided an update on his progress.
“When you talk about percentages of where he is he gains a percentage or two every day,” said Gailey of McGee. “He never makes a jump of 10-15 percent so it’s slowly but surely coming. He can do most everything except a couple of things in his movements.”
McGee is clearly not moving like he is when fully healthy, though his lateral agility is improved. Still, it would be a surprise if he dressed for Friday night’s preseason game.
