BDC 8/16: Brandon part of Business First panel

DAILY REPORT

–Bills CEO Russ Brandon will be part of a panel of experts at the Business of Sports Power Breakfast at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens hosted by Business First this morning. The panel will answer questions first posed by Business First followed by questions submitted by members of the audience.

–The Buffalo Bills are helping build a playground in WNY. The Bills have been donating $1 for every new fan or follower on Facebook and Twitter, and will donate up to $75,000 toward the creation of a playground in the WNY community. The campaign ends August 25,2012. So far, $22,276 has been raised to help the project. This initiative is part of the NFL-United Way Hometown Huddle, a league-wide day of service designed to bring awareness and impact to the issue of youth health and fitness and the NFL Play 60 initiative. –The Bills will travel to Minneapolis for the second game of the 2012 preseason schedule for an 8:00pm kickoff against the Vikings on Friday, August 17th. This week’s game will mark the 10th preseason meeting between the Bills and Vikings and first since 2002.
