BDC 8/23: Kids Day Game Sold Out

Posted by Bills Daily Charge on August 23, 2012 – 9:48 am

–The Buffalo Bills announced yesterday that the 12th annual Kids Day Game, 7:00 PM August 25 vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers is sold out and will be seen on local television. WKBW-TV in Buffalo helped secure the game for local television by guaranteeing the purchase of all remaining tickets.  For fans who are still interested in attending the game, limited ticket inventory will remain available for purchase at all Buffalo Bills ticket outlets.

–The Buffalo Bills announced yesterday that team has waived CB Cris Hill and S Josh Nesbitt.  Both players have been designated waived/injured.

–RB CJ Spiller talked to Jim Tatti of TSN Radio last night about his upbringing in Lake Butler, FL, his idols growing up (Warrick Dunn and Thurman Thomas), and the keys for the Bills to play winning football in 2012 (consistency).

–WR Stevie Johnson provides some insight on the Bills’ hopes for 2012 with Carlan Gray on the CBC’s 3rd-and-long podcast.

Bills DE Mario Williams
On where he hopes his biggest impact will be this season:
“Just get better and causing havoc. That is all. I am just trying to go out here and make plays tough for the offense. That is pretty much how I see it. That is one thing I am focusing on. I know if I go and do that and my guy beside me does the same thing, we are going to have a great chance. That is pretty much the only expectation and pressure that I have on me.”

Bills Head Coach Chan Gailey said this when asked about DE Mario Williams after practice yesterday: ‘
He is one of the best around. It is exciting to know we have him on our team and we do not have to face him.’
