The Bills Toyota Rookie club made their first appearance of the season Tuesday at Roswell Park visiting the children of Carly’s Club.
The night started off with a pizza party, followed by arts and crafts and games. Each of the rookies developed a special bond with the children.
“Getting to know them, hanging out with them, getting to know what they like was great,” said Bills linebacker Nigel Bradham.
The Bills rookies do not take their position for granted. Each of the players knows that they are role models to children and the Buffalo community, and happy to be positive influences.
“It’s a great feeling (to be a role model). Anytime you get a chance to get to know kids and give back to them, getting to know them as a person is great,” said Bradham. “You were that kid once who looked up to somebody. For me to be able to give back and have the opportunity to talk to them is huge.”
