On September 27th, members of the Buffalo Bills Women’s Association were busy loading cars full of goods to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities in downtown Buffalo.
The women gathered at 1 Bills Drive with cars full of goods that included linens, paper products, food, strollers, cleaning supplies and everyday items.
The goods unloaded stocked an entire pantry, as the tenants at the Ronald McDonald house were extremely grateful for the donated items.
“You are a critical part of what we do in the community,” said Sally Vincent, Executive Director at Ronald McDonald House. “I can’t say enough. This is what generates a good community and good neighbors in Western New York.”
The Buffalo Bills Women’s Association also presented the Ronald McDonald House and their tenants with over $1,000 worth of gift cards to Target, Tops, Tim Horton’s, Walmart, and Wegmans.
The association met all of the critical needs of the charity. In addition to the goods, they donated an iPod dock, high chairs, microwaves, hampers, pots and pans and more.
The donation made by the Buffalo Bills Women’s Association was the single largest donation that the Ronald McDonald House has ever had.
Below are photos from the donation.
