Bills head coach Chan Gailey believes Justin Rogers, who drew the assignment of Wes Welker for most of Sunday’s game, will bounce back from the outing. Gailey also said he doesn’t believe they have a one-on-one coverage answer for Welker.
“To be honest with you I don’t believe we’ve had a guy in the three years I’ve been here that can cover that guy one-on-one for an entire ball game,” said Gailey. “He can get open. That’s why he made the Pro Bowl so many years.”
Welker had nine catches for 129 yards in the New England victory Sunday.
