BDC 10/4: 16th Anniversary of the Fieldhouse

Posted by Bills Daily Charge on October 4, 2012 – 11:04 am

–The Buffalo Bills will begin a two-game West Coast road trip this weekend with the first match-up at the San Francisco 49ers. Sunday’s game will be the 11th regular season meeting between the two teams.

The Bills held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Fieldhouse, the team’s new practice facility.

SS George Wilson
On his thoughts on the 49ers offense:
“They are physical in the run game. They do a great job of not putting too much on Alex’s (Smith) back. They run play actions and boots off of the run game and they do a great job of getting the ball to their playmakers. They don’t try to get away from their identity and that is why they have been so good. They stick to their guns and they have been consistent in doing it.  We have to do a great job of controlling the line of scrimmage and not giving up the run plays like we did last week and force them to win the game on Alex’s arm.”

The Bills opened the Fieldhouse, the team’s practice facility, in October of 1995.
The Bills renamed the Fieldhouse, the Bills Healthy Zone Fieldhouse sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York.
