With the signing of free agent OL Reggie Wells Tuesday it marks the second time the Bills tried to sign the veteran lineman. The other time was six years ago.
In the free agency period of the 2006 offseason the Bills tendered then restricted free agent OL Reggie Wells to an offer sheet giving the Arizona Cardinals a week to match or receiver a sixth-round pick as compensation. Arizona said all along they would match the contract and they did.
