–Buffalo Bills players will visit 50 children from the Salvation Army to decorate picture frames and make fleece pillows.Bills players will take pictures with children in attendance, allowing children to put pictures in decorated frames to give as holiday gifts. The event is being held to remind everyone of the importance of donating warm clothing this winter season to the Gift of Warmth Collection.New jackets, gloves, hats and other warm clothing is needed as those less fortunate in Western New York prepare for harsh winter weather. All those who wish to donate can do so at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday, December 2nd, or at any M&T Bank location throughout the month of December. Media is welcome to attend the event from 4:30 – 6:00 pm at the Salvation Army Downtown Office on Main Street in Buffalo.

–Bills players will visit Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School today to speak to students about the importance of good health. During the visit, they will lead kids in fitness activities as part of NFL’s PLAY 60 campaign, helping kids get 60 minutes of exercise a day. On behalf of the NFL, they will present the school with a $10,000 NFL PLAY 60 grant for health and wellness programming or equipment and an additional $10,000 will go to the Cheektowaga-Sloan school district. To celebrate the start of the 2012 NFL season through the Back to Football campaign, schools were encouraged to participate in the NFL PLAY 60 Super School contest and submit three essays explaining how they planned to show their NFL team pride and incorporate football into their lesson plans. Schools were also asked to demonstrate their commitment to youth health and wellness by submitting essays on their school’s physical education environment and how they teach their students about the importance of being active and eating right. Media availability is at 9:30 AM at the school.

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick
Q: Are you comfortable with the level of autonomy you have in the offense?
A: Yeah. Chan (Gailey) and I have worked together long enough now that I have a ton of freedom. Even in year one I had a good amount of freedom. There is a lot of give and take with that. I feel 100-percent comfortable. It is not always on the field, it is not always during a specific play. Sometimes that stuff happens on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday when we are sitting up in our meeting room and talking about plays, things that we have installed and what we are trying to attack.
