Here’s a rundown of gameday activities for Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams.


Kickoff: 1:00 pm

Abbot Road Closing: 8:00 am

Parking Lots Open: 9:00 am

Gates Open: 11:30 am

Throwback Uniforms: The Buffalo Bills will wear new white Nike throwback uniforms, modeled after those worn by the 1964-65 AFL Championship teams.  The uniforms feature the standing red buffalo helmet.

Healthy Zone Field House:  9:30- 1:00 pm. Indoor tailgate includes vendors, flag football exhibition and interactive games.

Scoreboard Tailgate Party (Lot C): 10:00 am -12:15 pm.  Rock cover band Pirate Dreams will perform two 30-minute sets 10:00-10:30 am, 11:00 – 11:30 am.  Tailgate will include interactive vendor booths, appearances by the Buffalo Jills and souvenirs from partners.  Food and beverage will be for sale.

Coach of the Week : The Buffalo Bills and New York National Guard will honor each of the 2012 selections for High School Coach of the Week.  The 2012 High School Coach of the Year will be announced and awarded by Major General Patrick A. Murphy.  Each Coach of the Week received a $2,000 grant for their football program; the Coach of the Year will receive an additional $2,000.

National Anthem: Kirk & Kellen Gilbert

 Giveaway:  Commemorative Hall of Fame poster to the first 40,000 guests.


All-WNY Honorees: The Buffalo Bills will host the 1st-team All-WNY high school football team at mid-field during halftime.

Tailgating Reminder: No open fires are permitted in the Bills parking lots or on stadium grounds. Fires in contained grills are permitted.  Please do not empty hot coals on the parking lot pavement. Thank you!

Security Process: Remember to arrive at the gates early to avoid missing any of the pregame activities.  Be sure to empty pockets in preparation for the metal detection screening process at gate entry.

Designated Driver:  If you’re over 21, stop by any Guest Service Booth and pledge not to drink and make sure everyone in your group gets home safely.  Designated drives will receive a coupon good for one non-alcoholic beverage and will be entered into a raffle to win the Designated Driver of the Game prize and sweepstakes with a chance to win Probowl or Superbowl tickets.
