Bills look for more focus when adversity hits

In the second half Buffalo turned the ball over on each of their first three possessions of the second half. It put the Bills in a terrible hole after getting some momentum heading into the locker room at halftime. The players had trouble explaining why when things go wrong they’re unable to re-focus and persevere.

“The thing that’s coming to my mind is focus,” said Stevie Johnson. ‘We’ve got to understand that yeah they put a lot of points up and they went up early on us, but we’re still only down 10 points. We’ve got to be able to focus in and make sure we take care of the ball, make sure we catch it. I could’ve caught a pass on the sideline where we could’ve extended the drive. Just the overall focus has got to be there.”

“We’ve just got to find a way where we could be more disciplined in what we’re doing and just the details to how we can get things right for us,” said C.J. Spiller. “We’ve seen that we can have those explosive plays. They’re there, but we’ve just got to make them. Today was just one of those days where we didn’t make enough of them.”
