Miami depending on backups

The Dolphins are missing starters WR Davone Bess, LB Koa Misi and CB Nolan Carroll. And Miami is depending on some players they haven’t routinely turned to.

LB Jason Trusnik is in for Misi and probably the most consistent of the backups.

WR Marlon Moore is in for Bess and has all of six catches this season. And CB Dmitri Patterson is starting for Carroll. Patterson was just signed off waivers Tuesday.
