Coach Marrone on Monday’s John Murphy Show

Posted by johnmurphyshow on January 7, 2013 – 5:17 pm

It’s a red-letter day at One Bills Drive, with today’s introduction of new Head Coach Doug Marrone.  And tonight on The John Murphy Show, we’ll sit down with the new head man to talk about his job.   He just won the Pinstripe Bowl with the Syracuse Orange nine days ago, and today was introduced as the 16th Head Coach in Bills history.  We’ll talk to Marrone about his plans for hiring a coaching staff and his vision for the future.

Marrone played on the offensive line at Syracuse where his Head Coach was the venerable “Coach Mac.”  And Dick MacPherson joins us live on the line at 720pm to give us his take on Marrone.

At 730pm, Bills Assistant GM Doug Whaley joins us to provide some background and insight on the six day coaching search in Arizona.   And at 8pm, we’ll talk with the man who gave Marrone his first job in the NFL–former Jets Head Coach Herm Edwards, now an ESPN analyst.

We’ll make time for your phone calls tonight for fan reaction to the hiring.  And we’ll take you right off to kickoff the National Championship Game, Alabama vs. Notre Dame.

The John Murphy Show airs weeknights from 7pm-9pm on the flagship station of the Bills, WGR Sports Radio 550.
