THIS DAY IN BILLS HISTORY…
January 18, 1988 — THREE BILLS NAMED TO ALL-ROOKIE TEAM
Three Bills were named to the United Press International’s 1987 all-rookie team. They were: LB Cornelius Bennett, LB Shane Conlan and CB Nate Odomes.
QUOTE OF THE DAY
Populous Senior Architect-Exec/Senior Principal Scott Radecic
Q: It seems the centerpiece of your plan here is to improve the fan experience at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
A: “Exactly…Clearly a result of our sessions with the executive leadership (of the Bills) was about making sure we improve the fan experience. It is also interesting to see that we saw in an NFL survey of fans from last year that of the 10 top things that people want which affect their experience, four of them had to do with food service and four of them had to do with just circulation, safety and the way they feel when they are moving around the stadium—kind of getting in and out. We understand that those are the foundation elements of a fan experience at a game. The focus of this effort the whole time has been purely on the fan and how do we make it a better experience for them.” – via The John Murphy Show 1/17/13
PHOTOS OF THE DAY
One of the many highlights that were featured in yesterday’s Populous presentation was a new Plaza on the West side of the Stadium that will include a new team store and entry gates.
Another detail of the Populous presentation includes renovated concourse areas and upgraded concessions, restrooms and lighting.
