BDC 4/4: Draft Pick Contest Announced

–The Buffalo Bills announced yesterday that they have partnered with Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop to launch the Tim Hortons & Buffalo Bills 4th Round Draft Pick contest, where one lucky winner will receive the opportunity to announce the Bills 4th round draft pick live at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Saturday, April 27, 2013. To enter, fans will Tweet a picture to @TimHortonsUS showing why they’re the biggest Bills and Tim Hortons fans, tagging the tweet with #BillsDraft.

–The Bills hosted pre-draft visits with LB Jamie Collins – Southern Mississippi; QB Mike Glennon – North Carolina St; DS Jonathan Meeks – Clemson; and WR Russell Shepard– LSU yesterday at One Bills Drive.

–The Bills and M&T Bank announced they are partnering for the seventh annual M&T Bank Draft Day Challenge —a contest where fans predict the Bills first selection of the NFL Draft. Fans who correctly guess the Bills first NFL Draft pick will be entered to win a prize package. Five winners, selected at random will receive: an exclusive “meet and greet” with the top draft pick, a private tour of the Buffalo Bills facilities and an autographed NFL Draft helmet. Fans can visit or through April 25th at 5 p.m. EDT to make their prediction.

Ground breaking ceremonies were held in Orchard Park, NY for the Bills’ new 80,000-seat stadium. Bills owner Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. and Erie County Legislature Chairman Richard J. Keane both turned the first shovel full of dirt.

“The energy, I like the energy. He could have been the same blah, blah, blah—but it was up-tempo. It felt good to me. I am pretty sure the vibes were throughout the room as well. We are going to be up-tempo and have attitude. Like I said about Coach Marrone, it was refreshing just to see that.”
