Posted by Bills Daily Charge on August 23, 2013 – 10:19 am

Buffalo at Washington: The Buffalo Bills travel to face the Washington Redskins this afternoon with kickoff slated for 4:30pm tomorrow. Tomorrow’s game will be the 15th preseason meeting between Buffalo and Washington and the second year in a row the two teams will have met in exhibition play (2012, L 6-7). The Bills will close out the preseason against the Detroit Lions at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Thursday, August 29th at 7:00pm. Fans can watch the game on WKBW-TV (Buffalo), the NFL Network, or listen to it on the Bills flagship station WGR550 (550AM-Buffalo), WCMF (96.5-Rochester), WROC (950AM-Rochester), Sportsnet 590 The Fan (590AM-Toronto), or WTKW/WTKV (99.5-105.5-Syracuse).

–Bills President and CEO Russ Brandon – who began his sports business career with the Red Wings which included stints as the team’s PR director and co-assistant General Manager – will be among the 16 new members inducted to theFrontier Field Walk of Fame on Sunday, August 25th prior to the Rochester Red Wings 1:05 pm game. Since 1997, a special section at the center of the Frontier Field Walk of Fame has been designated to honor Rochester’s sports legends. These individuals (coaches, players, management and media spanning Rochester’s sports history) are those who have made a monumental impact on the community through their achievements in the Rochester-area sports scene.

FRED JACKSON, Buffalo Bills running back
Q: Can you talk about the relationships that have been formed between the players and coaching staff?
A: “That’s one of the things Coach (Marrone) stressed to us: this is a game that we have to come in here and yes, work, but the number one thing that we should do is have fun while we’re out here. He’s been a living example of that.”

A national television audience that excluded western New York saw the Bills upset the Los Angeles Rams 31-24 at a rainy Rich Stadium. West Seneca native Ron Jaworski returned home as quarterback of the Rams and passed for 168 yards.

The Bills will travel to Washington today before squaring off with the Redskins tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. EST.
