Bills final roster trends 2006-2012
Posted by on August 30, 2013 – 6:15 amHere’s a breakdown of what the final 53-man roster looked like by position over the last seven seasons when the roster was reduced at the end of August. Certain coaching staffs had their preferences, which might make predicting the direction Coach Marrone and his staff take a bit challenging with this being his first season with the club.
The only positions that should be relatively easy to call in terms of numbers are the specialists (3), the running backs (4) because it seems likely that they’ll carry a fullback and tight end (3). Beyond that the numbers could vary by one or two to what they’ve been in the past based on some of the injuries (Kolb, Gilmore).
