DOUG MARRONE, Buffalo Bills Head Coach on WGR 550
Q: (Thad Lewis) seemed pretty comfortable and it’s not like he was a rookie making his first start, he’s been in the league for a few years. I was just curious if there would be any jitters or any nerves being thrust in to the starting job without much notice?
A: No, I think he’s a player that obviously had one start prior to that and it’s a league that’s based on opportunity and you have to be ready. I think he’s been preparing himself for that because you need that opportunity to go out there and prove your worth in this league. It’s all about production, so he was ready for that. That’s a testament to him being a professional.
