BDC 12/3: Bills to Hold Play 60 Challenge Fitness Party Today

Posted by Bills Daily Charge on December 3, 2013 – 9:05 am

— Buffalo Bills players and representatives from BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York and the American Heart Association will host 350 students from Buffalo Public, Orchard Park and East Aurora Elementary Schools to celebrate the completion of the Play 60 Challenge – a key initiative of the Buffalo Bills and the NFL focusing on encouraging America’s youth to be physically active for at least 60 minutes each day. Bills players will host physical activity stations in the Healthy Zone Fieldhouse, including inflatable games and football-themed physical activity stations, before sending the students back to their schools to enjoy a free, healthy lunch.

Bills LB Jerry Hughes notched two sacks on Sunday, moving him into second place on the team with 8.0 sacks on the year—well above his previous career high of 4.0 sacks in a season.

FRED JACKSON, Buffalo Bills Running Back
Q: As a team, how do you get to a place where the margin of error isn’t so thin?
A: Just have to keep working it. I think the number one thing that we can do as a team is just learn from situations like this. If you do that, you don’t want to be in those situations where one play can cost you. We just have to make more plays throughout the game more often. That way it doesn’t come down to one play in the game. I think if we do that and take advantage of more opportunities at the beginning of the game it won’t come down to one play that costs us the game. If we can do that, it gives us a better opportunity.
