What Bills Pro Bowlers think of Schwartz hire

The Pro Bowl is Sunday and the Bills will be well represented with four players from their defense. Two of those players have their thoughts on the hire of Jim Schwartz as their new defensive coordinator.

“He obviously has a proven track record of good defenses during his time in Tennessee and some aggressive defenses in Detroit,” said Kyle Williams. “We’ve got some good personnel and we know that he is going to put us in position to make plays and make our team the best that we can be. I am excited to see what he has in store for us.”

Meanwhile Marcell Dareus did some reconnaissance and talked to Lions DL Nick Fairley about Scwartz.

“I have heard he is a really good defensive coordinator and he did a great job with the Lions in terms of helping to turn that team around. I’m looking forward to him coming over to the Bills and helping us out. I’m just excited to get to meet him and get to know him,” Dareus said.

“I talked to Sammie (Hill) and Nick Fairley briefly about him. They say he is a good defensive coordinator and lets you get after it. That’s mainly what I am looking for.”
