Bills all-time leading receiver Andre Reed is again a finalist for Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement and he said he feels better about his chances this year.
“I’m more optimistic this year than in previous years,” Reed said in an appearance on NFL Network Friday. “I think right now it’s the family, they have a party every year and I want this for them so much more than myself and you talk about validation and what your career is about. There are only 275 guys here and to be on this stage at this time it speaks volumes.”
Reed is competing with fellow receivers Tim Brown and Marvin Harrison. He’ll know his Hall of Fame fate Saturday afternoon.
