After his knee was reportedly rejected by some NFL clubs at the combine, Alabama OT Cyrus Kouandjio set out to convince NFL scouts otherwise. That opportunity came on Tuesday in Tuscaloosa.
NFL.com reported that Kouandjio apparently asked scouts in attendance if there was anything they wanted to see him do in addition to what he had planned for his pro day workout. Scouts put him through a battery of position drills.
He also confirmed that he’ll have a private workout with Tampa Bay. Kouandjio also reportedly improved his vertical leap by six inches from 25 to 31 inches.
Some believe Kouandjio could still be a late first round pick if his knee checks out.
