It was a good sight for Buffalo’s offensive linemen to see Saturday night. Cordy Glenn in a helmet again. And though he was and will be limited in practice for a good while, just seeing him drop into his kick slide again had his teammates excited.
“Yeah he looked good out there in individual drills,” said Eric Wood. “We’re going to take it slow with him. He’s had some time off, but definitely excited to have him back.”
Wood was asked how long he thinks it’ll take Glenn to sharpen his game back up. The Bills center doesn’t see it taking all that long.
“It shouldn’t be. Cordy has pretty rare genes when it comes to offensive linemen,” said Wood. “He was born with a ton of strength and a ton of athleticism. The little nuances and techniques will take a little bit of time, but it shouldn’t take too long.”
For Wood and the other linemen they weren’t caught off guard by Glenn showing up on the practice field. In fact Wood knew what was coming.
“I expected it to come this week,” he said. “It is what I expected, but excited to have a caliber of player like Cordy Glenn, one of the best left tackles in the league in my opinion to add to our lineup.”
