Bills newest QB Jordan Palmer is very familiar with EJ Manuel having traveled in some of the same quarterback circles over the last three years. They were even counselors together at former NFL QB Trent Dilfer’s ‘Elite 11’ camp. Palmer has seen enough of Manuel and his game that he’s confident he’ll be a successful NFL starting quarterback.
“I’m very confident,” said Palmer of Manuel being a success. “The first thing you have to be, if you’re going to be young, talented and given the reins of an organization, is you have to be all-in. This has to be your life, this has to be your job, this has to be everything to you. I know EJ well enough to know that this is. So right there, you’re ahead of a good number of guys.
“Talent wise—the guy can make every throw, he’s a great athlete. He’s a smart, really conscientious quarterback. Really thinking through things, and then the talent around him. I can go on and on why I’m confident in EJ. I’m excited to come here and build on that confidence and get to see it in person now.”
