ESPN’s award-winning prime time news magazine E:60 will present the touching story of the relationship between Buffalo Bills’ wide receiver Marquise Goodwin and his younger sister in the episode airing Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m. ET.
Goodwin, who is one of the fastest players in the NFL and a former world-class long jumper who jumped for team USA at the 2012 London Olympics has a sister with cerebral palsy. Goodwin calls himself gifted because of his little sister, Deja.
Born with cerebral palsy, Deja is confined to a wheelchair and requires around-the-clock care, but that has not stopped Marquise and Deja from forming an incredibly close relationship. The relationship has endured through his time at the University of Texas, the Olympics, and now into an NFL career. In fact, Goodwin say that everything he has achieved – on the track and on the field – has been because of Deja.
We shared this story on Buffalobills.com last spring, but here’s a preview clip of the Marquise Goodwin feature.
