As fans enter the gates next Sunday for the home opener against the Miami Dolphins, Ralph Wilson Stadium will look quite a bit different as the massive renovation project comes to a close. But Bills fans will also find many of the same great elements of the stadium they’ve loved for years, including the iconic design on the back of the scoreboard.
The design scheme of the renovations seeks to marry both new and old architecture with a coat of black paint on the scoreboard and much of the rest of the stadium. The scoreboard design – one of the finishing touches on the offseason-long project – mirrors its look before the renovations began. And as one of the most recognizable features of Ralph Wilson Stadium, that look is certainly impressive.
