A Football Monday John Murphy Show as we went on air for a morning edition of the show. Plenty of listener calls giving their thoughts on the Bills overtime win in Chicago. Post game reaction from the locker room with another edition of Around the Locker Room. We also heard all the highlights courtesy of the play-by-play voice, John Murphy and the Buffalo Bills Radio Network.
With his first career interception in the win over the Bears, defensive tackle Kyle Williams stopped by our studio to discuss just that. He broke down the play and how he read Jay Cutler’s eyes and knew he had a chance at the pick. Williams discussed the importance of getting turnovers, especially on the road against the high potent Bears offense.
“For us to get turnovers on the road like that is huge for us. Obviously, when we come home and we have the noise, we want to create miscommunication for their offense and help us be able to get turnovers at home but going on the road and getting turnovers and getting our offense the ball back is invaluable.”
Williams also talked about his excitement for coming home to Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday when the team hosts the Dolphins.
We were also joined by Bills Insider Chris Brown who joined us to break down the game. He talked about the Fred Jackson run in overtime that led to the game winning field goal. Brown also discussed his thoughts on EJ Manuel’s first game of 2014, special teams, and the defense including the solid play of cornerback Corey Graham who filled in for an injured Stephon Gilmore.
