We’ve seen 2-0 starts from the Bills before and the end results did not have the team in the playoffs. Most of Buffalo’s locker room is aware of the history, but this year’s group believes their commitment level is superior to those teams of the past. As DE Jerry Hughes sees it the team is taking a tunnel vision approach.
“We take that very serious. Two wins doesn’t mean very much,” Hughes said. “We know that it’s a long NFL season. A lot can happen so we’re just taking it one game at a time, one week at a time. We don’t think about last week and we don’t think about the future. This week it’s San Diego and that’s all that’s on our mind.”
