The Detroit Lions have some good depth at running back, but that depth might be tested this week against the Bills with Joique Bell and his backup Theo Riddick not practicing Wednesday.
Bell sustained a concussion in last week’s game against the Jets. Riddick meanwhile is dealing with a hamstring injury. That leaves Detroit with just two healthy backs in Reggie Bush and George Winn.
Top WR Calvin Johnson has also been dealing with an ankle injury, though he hasn’t missed games he hasn’t been the dominant receiver he usually is. He did not practice either Wednesday.
Here’s the rest of the Lions’ practice participation on their Wednesday injury report.
