Lions offense takes another hit

The Detroit Lions already have a hobbling WR in Calvin Johnson. Now their number two wideout Golden Tate has an injury as well.
According to the Lions’ official website, Tate was limited in practice Thursday with a hamstring injury. Tate admirably picked up the slack for Johnson, who was slowed by an ankle injury last week against the Jets, pulling in eight catches for 118 yards.
Add in RB Joique Bell, who did not practice for a second straight day due to a concussion and the skill position players on offense are getting thinner by the day.
Even third string RB Theo Riddick missed a second day of practice with a hamstring injury himself. If he and Bell cannot play Sunday it would thrust third stringer George Wynn into the lineup to team with Reggie Bush. Here’s the rest of the Lions’ injury report.
