As Kyle Orton takes the field today in his first start for the Bills, he brings with him a perfect record against the Detroit Lions.
He’s played them more than a couple of times and Kyle Orton has always come out on top. The Bills new starting quarterback has a perfect record against the Detroit Lions, with some good passing stats to back it up.
In four career games against the Lions, Orton is 4-0 passing for 822 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions and a 102.2 passer rating.
All four victories came while Orton was with the Bears. Two of the wins came in his rookie season of 2005 with the other two coming in 2008, when Detroit went winless. The average margin of victory in those four games was 16.5 points.
Today will be just Orton’s second start since 2011. His last was in the season finale last year for the Dallas Cowboys.
