Podcast edition of tonight’s show. We began with a recap of Thursday’s practice at the stadium which included a Bills injury update and we shared the news of the day from around the NFL. We also shelled out another edition of Around the Locker Room as the team gets ready for their divisional matchup with the Patriots on Sunday.
Later, we were joined by Bills running back Fred Jackson who sat down with us to discuss the recent news of the Pegula family taking over ownership of the team. He also talked about the atmosphere that will be on hand Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium as the team welcomes their new owners and look to grab the top spot in the AFC East. Jackson went on to talk about the team’s run game and how that will be a factor in Sunday’s game.
“That’s something we have to do better as an offensive unit. To continue to win games long into the season we have to run the ball better and that’s something we will focus on this week. We have to keep advantage of keeping Tom Brady on the sideline and one of the best ways to do that is run the ball. It’s something we are well aware of as an offensive unit that we have to get better at. It’s just a job that we have to get done.”
Finally, Jackson discussed this weekend’s Billieve event in Niagara Falls as and his teammates will help spread awareness for breast cancer screening.
