As we profiled on Buffalobills.com today, Kyle Orton’s insertion into the lineup has provided the offense with a stabilizing force at their most important position. He’s been a clutch performer, but more importantly he’s demanded more of each skill position player on offense and been specific in exactly what he needs from each of them so their offense can operate a peak efficiency. WR Chris Hogan explained how instrumental that’s been for Buffalo’s attack.
Hogan called Orton “demanding,” but in the same breath said that’s just what the young receiving corps needed.
“We’ve got a lot of talented guys throughout the skill positions, running back, receiver and everything,” Hogan told Buffalobills.com. “We just needed a guy to give us a little bit of a push and Kyle has come in and is taking advantage of the guys that we have at the receiver position and the running backs. Throughout the week he wants to get the ball in the hands of those guys and let us go out there and make plays.”
Hogan along with Sammy Watkins and others will be having a passing session with Orton on their off day this afternoon.
