Red Jacket takes Section V Coach of the Week

Posted by Buffalo Bills on November 6, 2014 – 4:47 pm

The Section V Coach of the Week in the 9th week of the program is head coach Marc Vitticore of Red Jacket High School in Shortsville, NY. His team defeated Bishop Kearney 50-14 to remain unbeaten with nine wins. For that big playoff win, the Bills and the New York National Guard are honoring Vitticore with this week’s Section V Coach of the Week Award.

The Coach of the Week program has been a weekly staple of the high school football season on and this year was expanded to Section V. In addition to the recognition online, Vitticore and other winning coaches receive a $1,000 grant for their football programs from the Bills and the New York National Guard, a certificate signed by Bills President Russ Brandon, General Manager Doug Whaley, and Head Coach Doug Marrone recognizing their accomplishment, a Bills hat, and an invitation to join the Bills on-field December 14th for pregame ceremonies prior to kickoff against the Green Bay Packers. At that point, a High School Coach of the Year will be selected for sections V and VI, with each winner receiving an additional $1,000 grant for their football program.

Congratulations to Coach Vitticore!
