In addition to tweaking his groin in the Kansas City game Sunday, which limited his snap count in that contest, Jackson said after Buffalo’s latest loss to Miami that he also aggravated it in practice the following Tuesday.
“I tweaked the groin in practice again on Tuesday, so it was better for me not to go tonight,” Jackson said.
Jackson naturally didn’t enjoy missing out on playing Thursday night.
“It’s tough,” he said. “You never want to be on the sideline especially when you see the offensive struggles like we had today. I have to do everything I can to get back out there and help my teammates and do everything I can to get us out of this funk that we’re in.”
Jackson is hoping the extra time will be enough to get his body back right
“Hopefully,” he said. “It’ll be good to get 10 days off from our next game. It can only help so I’m going to do everything I can to get back out there as soon as I can.”
