Bills RB Fred Jackson was inactive last night against the Dolphins after he tweaked his groin not only in the game the previous Sunday against the Chiefs, but in practice on Tuesday as well. However, on Friday morning head coach Doug Marrone indicated that if Buffalo’s game was Sunday instead of Thursday night he’d have been able to give it a go.
“I think if we would’ve played on a Sunday we would’ve had Fred back,” said Marrone.
Jackson said he’s hopeful that the extra rest this weekend in advance of the week leading up to the Nov. 23rd game against the Jets will put him in position to be healthy enough to play.
