Carpenter expected to be fine for Sunday

He’s been a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday with a groin injury, but come Sunday head coach Doug Marrone is confident that K Dan Carpenter will be ready to go.

A groin injury can be a difficult one for a kicker, but Marrone feels good about the availability of Carpenter in what is a very big game against Cleveland Sunday.

“Yeah, absolutely,” said Marrone when asked if Carpenter will be okay to play Sunday. “We’re just listing (his injury) in case there is a setback so we have it documented.”
