The 2014 season ended prematurely for Bills CB Leodis McKelvin when he fractured his ankle in a Week 11 game at Miami. He’d miss the last six games of the season, but still finished the year as the team leader in interceptions with a single-season career high of four. Buffalobills.com talked to McKelvin by phone recently and he provided an update on the status of his ankle.
“I should be 100 percent probably in a month or so,” McKelvin told Buffalobills.com. “By the middle of March I should be cleared. I haven’t been cleared by the doctor yet for my ankle.”
McKelvin expects to be ready for OTA practices in the spring.Whether he’s limited or not will be up to the team physicians and athletic trainers.
