Rex Ryan is a head coach known for wearing his emotions on his sleeve. Apparently he wears his NFL allegiance directly on his arm as well. After getting a Jets themed tattoo of his wife, Michelle, on his right arm in a Jets jersey, he’s had that Jets jersey changed.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Ryan while in Arizona during Super Bowl week had a tattoo artist change the Jets jersey to Bills blue. Here’s a look at the black and white template of the tattoo on Ryan’s right arm.
The recently hired Buffalo coach had the tattoo on his biceps updated to Bills colors at a parlor in Scottsdale, Arizona, last Friday.
The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that Ryan, in town before the Super Bowl, has donated all of his old New York Jets apparel to a local charity and needed to freshen up his body art.
“I mean, you’ve got to turn the page,” Ryan told the newspaper.
So, he had the image of his wife in a Jets jersey — the original No. 6 was previously colored over in green — changed to a Bills jersey.
“I’m all in,” Ryan said.
