Clemson pass rusher Vic Beasley was expected to test well being an elite level athlete, and at the NFL Combine he did not disappoint.
Beasley was one of the top performers in almost every on field event for the linebacker group. He ranked in the top five in each of the following categories.
40 yard dash – 1st – 4.53
Bench press – 1st – 35 reps
Vertical leap – 3rd – 41 inches
Broad jump – 3rd – 10-feet 10-inches
20-yd shuttle – 4th – 4.15 seconds
Beasley has played both defensive end and outside linebacker in college, but projects to linebacker in the NFL. He’s got 25 sacks over his last two seasons and projects as a first-round pick.
