Bills new RB LeSean McCoy was asked a myriad of questions as he was formally introduced following the confirmation of Buffalo’s trade to acquire him becoming official Tuesday. McCoy’s outlook for the Bills in 2015 was one of them.
In an interview on NFL Network, McCoy was asked if the Bills can win now.
“I think so. I think we really can,” said McCoy. “When you look at the team, the first thing that jumps out at you is just the defense. That’s more than half the battle. You have a defense that shuts teams down, that controls the line of scrimmage, that doesn’t give up a lot of points. That’s more than half the battle. I think as an offense, if we can control the ball running the ball, make the right throws, make the right reads – it’s the small things – I think can win games. I think Rex has been doing that for quite some time now, that type of playing the ball, that type of game plan.”
