Less than a month after signing a free agent contract with the club that made him a second round pick in 2010, Brandon Spikes is again a free agent.
That according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who is reporting that the New England Patriots have released the veteran linebacker.

ESPN is reporting there was an incident early Sunday morning involving Spikes and an abandoned car that is being characterized as a hit and run accident.
Spikes played for Buffalo in the 2014 season on a one-year contract.
