Ellicott Development selects Season Ticket winner

Posted by on August 7, 2015 – 10:02 am

Ellicott Hospitality, a division of Ellicott Development, the official Hotel partner of the Buffalo Bills ran a contest to give away four Jim Kelly Club season tickets to the 2015 season.  With such an incredible prize, the response from fans was overwhelming.  Over 40,000 people entered to win these tickets.

The lucky winner was Jill Adams from Amherst. “One out of 41,000 is pretty awesome” said Carl Paladino, Chairman and founder of the Ellicott Development Company who was on hand at one of his properties, the Fairmont to present Jill with her tickets.  “I think she should go to the casino.”

The tickets were presented to Jill on the roof of The Fairmont overlooking the city of Buffalo, a tie into Ellicott’s campaign #thisisbuffalo.  The Fairmont is a multi-use property on Scott Street in downtown Buffalo near the waterfront and Cobblestone district.  Constructed in 1920, the eightstory structure was originally built for The Fairmont Creamery as a cold storage.  The building has gone through a drastic transformation from vacant industrial space into a mix of office, apartments, retail space and a restaurant.  For more about The Fairmont, click here.

Paladino talked about the city of Buffalo that his company has helped develop since founded Ellicott Development in 1973. “People in the city are thrilled.  Thank God for Mr. Pegula.  We spent 25 years worrying about what was going to happen if something happened to Ralph and now all of a sudden a miracle came upon us.”

With all that’s happening in the city and on the field, Jill is thrilled to be attending every game this upcoming season. “I was so excited when I found out I won.  I couldn’t even believe it.”  She’s deciding who will attend the games with her, now that she’s a four-seat season ticket member.  She brought her twin sister, brother and boyfriend with her to accept the tickets who will be fighting with her mom and brother-in-law to attend games with her.

“Thank you so much to Ellicott Development.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me, I’m so thankful and grateful.”  To find out about more contests, sign up for our email list.
