Bills head coach Rex Ryan provided a bit of clarity on the return timetable of both LeSean McCoy from injury and Karlos Williams from his surgical procedure.
“When we last spoke we really never knew the extent of it and what it was going to be and everything,” said Ryan of McCoy’s hamstring injury. “We kind of assumed things, but we’re cautiously optimistic that he’ll be ready for the opener. Barring any kind of setback we think he’s going to be ready to roll.”
As for Williams, Ryan said he believes that he’s been released from the hospital at this point.
“Karlos will be ready to roll that first game also,” Ryan said. “It’s going to be a couple of weeks, but he should be ready opening day.”
