Two players missing at Bills practice Monday were Marquise Goodwin and Stephon Gilmore, who both suffered injuries in Saturday’s preseason game against Pittsburgh. Head coach Rex Ryan provided an update.
“Both guys were held out (of practice),” said Ryan. “Goodwin seems to be the ribs, cracked ribs, two cracked ribs. It will be very up in the air if he’ll be ready to go Week 1, I’m not sure about that. I feel pretty positive about Gilmore, but time will tell.”
Goodwin took a knee to the rib when he was tackled after a catch and run. Gilmore sustained a shoulder injury and did not return to the game.
